As you probably have found out (or will find out) when browsing this site, it will be clear that one of my passions is the nature and wildlife around us. I like to make trips through nature in Holland or abroad and am always looking for images that may inspire or surprise the viewers. Luckily there are still enough nature reserves and nature areas available throughout the world, so my other passion, travel, can be combined easily here! ![]() My photography has evolved from a favorite hobby to a continous strive to capture new events and situations. With the urge to capture new details in nature, my collection of Pentax equipment has grown as well and I'm happy to be able to shoot any subject currently with a range of first class objects, ranging from the FA* 200/4.0 ED IF macro to the A* 600/5.6 long tele lens. Being critical is something that I value in everything I undertake, I strive to evolve in my skills. In the beginning of 2008 I became a member of the Dutch Nature Photographers Guild and I hope to gain more insight and techniques from the vast knowledge among the members there. Comments (11)

I am just about to start the second year of my A level photography course and i am so glad i found your website - i plan on titling it something along the lines of; "mother nature photographed" - i find your work a real inspiration. I have a particular interest in macro photography so your work is exactly the kind of thing i am aiming to achieve!
